Abbey Fire Centre’s professional handyman service is here to tick that list off for you. We offer half-day and full-day bookings across Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas, so in one visit, we can work through all those small but frustrating jobs that have been building up around your home. One trusted tradesperson, one booking, and a home that finally feels sorted (and a mind that can relax!).

We offer half-day and full-day bookings where one of our skilled tradespeople comes to your home and works through a list of jobs you need doing. It’s ideal for people who have a number of smaller tasks that have been building up, jobs that aren’t big enough to justify individual tradespeople but are genuinely overdue getting done.
We cover Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Walmley, Boldmere, Wylde Green, Birmingham, and the surrounding West Midlands area. Call us on 0121 384 5251 if you’re not sure whether we cover your postcode.
Typical jobs include adjusting or rehanging doors, fitting curtain rails, poles and blinds, fixing cupboard doors and hinges, replacing handles, repairing shelving, and general household fixes. If you’re not sure whether your job is something we can help with, just give us a call, and we’ll let you know.
Our handyman service covers skilled carpentry, joinery, and general home repair tasks. We don’t carry out plumbing, full electrical work, plastering, or decorating. For larger structural or specialist projects, we’ll always point you in the right direction.
You book either a half day (approximately 3–4 hours) or a full day (approximately 6–7 hours). We’ll discuss your list of jobs in advance so we can advise which booking is likely to suit and make sure we arrive prepared with the right tools and fixings.

For most standard repairs and fixings we’ll bring what we need. If your job requires specific materials, for example, a particular hinge finish or a specific type of fitting, we’ll discuss this with you in advance so everything is ready for the day.
